jeff fisher born 1952 Melbourne, Australia

He established himself as an illustrator in London

where he lived for nine years from 1983. He lived for

a number of years with his family outside Paris, France,

where his reputation has grown worldwide. The French

describe him as "un des plus grands illustrateurs

mondiaux". (now returning to UK).

His most famous book cover design is

Captain Corelli's Mandolin by Louis de Bernieres.

to influence younger generations of illustrators.
